The exhibition is held to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts (June 24, 1966 - June 24, 2024).
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong and guests
Deputy Director of Vietnam Fine Arts Museum Nguyen Duc Kien delivered the opening speech of the exhibition.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum Nguyen Duc Kien shared: Over the past 58 years of building and developing the Museum, many generations of cadres and civil servants have overcome difficulties to contribute their efforts and intelligence to the common cause. Besides the role of a civil servant, many painters and sculptors working at the Museum also show their love for artistic creation.
The accumulation of energy and life experience, along with a favorable environment to directly access artifacts and typical works of art of the nation, has created conditions for each individual to raise awareness, broaden their vision and concepts in their creations. It is also a way for them to cultivate and improve their professional qualifications, and actively contribute more to the common cause of the Museum.
Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

The exhibition is a good and practical traditional activity to encourage and create conditions for professional staff to improve their professional skills, continue to maintain and develop the creativity of each individual. At the same time, we hope that through the exhibition, we will encourage the spirit of artists participating in artistic activities, together uniting and working together for the common cause of the Museum" - Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien emphasized.

At the exhibition, I brought the works "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter" showing the unique identities and characteristics of the mountainous villages in the four seasons of the year. Because I was born and raised in a Tay village in Lang Son province, through my works, I hope to introduce images of my homeland, especially the beauty of nature and people in the mountains to a wide audience at home and abroad.
