Hanoi traffic chaos, people flee home to avoid storm

TPO – The rain this afternoon (September 6) due to the impact of storm YAGI has caused many streets in Hanoi to become congested, people struggled to find their way home to avoid the storm.

According to Tien Phong reporters, at around 4 p.m., heavy rain caused many streets in Hanoi such as Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Tran Duy Hung, etc. to be partially congested, with some areas being blocked for several kilometers.

On Cau Giay street, after the rain this afternoon, there was a chaotic scene of vehicles.

Cau Giay street (below Ha pagoda station) is jammed, people move little by little.

Tran Thai Tong Street is jammed with cars even though it is not rush hour.

Police were present to direct traffic.

To bridge area (Thanh Tri) is crowded with vehicles.

Many people had to climb onto the sidewalk.
