Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Odon Vallet said that during his work and observation of foreign students in France, he assessed that the most outstanding students were Vietnamese students. That was the key reason he chose Vietnamese students as one of the three groups of subjects receiving scholarships.

Affirming that the quality of Vietnamese education is at a high level, he cited the typical example of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, one of the best high schools in the world.

Minister Huynh Thanh Dat believes that today's event is a memorable milestone for the students. The professors are shining examples of compassion, perseverance, and dedication to science for the students to follow.

At the ceremony, delegates awarded scholarships to students. The value of each scholarship for excellent undergraduates and postgraduates is 28 million VND and the scholarship for excellent students is 14 million VND.

Evaluating this year's program as a great success, I also "revealed" how to use the prize, which is to pay for future studies and donate a portion to charity to buy books and blankets for needy children in the locality.

As for Pham The Minh, a 12th grade student of Physics 1 at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, tonight's event is very useful for him to gain more motivation and is the foundation for his future plans.

This is also the common point in the thinking of other scholarship owners, it is truly an encouragement for you to continue to try, develop yourself further, and contribute a small part to the development of the country.

According to Professor Tran Thanh Van, more than 400 Vietnamese students who have been awarded Valley scholarships have achieved outstanding achievements worldwide in the fields of science and technology.
