Professor Hoang Chi Bao tells the story of Uncle Ho with the Industry and Trade sector and the Vietnamese revolutionary press

In celebration of the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024), on June 11, 2024, in Hanoi, Industry and Trade Newspaper organized a thematic meeting "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style for the Industry and Trade sector and Vietnam's revolutionary press".

The speaker of the seminar was Professor, Doctor Hoang Chi Bao - senior expert, former member of the Central Theoretical Council. Professor, Doctor Hoang Chi Bao has devoted his whole life to researching and learning about President Ho Chi Minh. He is very famous for his stories about Uncle Ho, known as "the storyteller about Uncle Ho", or "the living history book about Uncle Ho".

Also attending the thematic session, on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, was Ms. Ha Mai Anh - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Opening the thematic session "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style for the Industry and Trade sector and the Vietnamese revolutionary press", Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh said that in the atmosphere of June to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024), Industry and Trade Newspaper was honored to have an exchange and conversation with Professor, Doctor Hoang Chi Bao - who is known as "the best storyteller about Uncle Ho" about Uncle Ho's stories, Uncle Ho's stories with the Vietnamese revolutionary press, with the Industry and Trade sector's press.

Sharing with Professor, Dr. Hoang Chi Bao about the history of Industry and Trade Newspaper, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh said that on June 10, 2024, the Party Executive Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade unanimously agreed to choose October 2, 1945 as the Traditional Day of Industry and Trade Newspaper. The origin of this event stems from Uncle Ho's affection for the Ministry of Industry and Trade in general and for the Industry and Trade press in particular.

Editor-in-Chief of Industry and Trade Newspaper Nguyen Van Minh shared about the history of Industry and Trade Newspaper and hoped that, through the talk of Professor, Dr. Hoang Chi Bao, the collective of cadres, reporters, editors, and workers at the Newspaper will learn more knowledge, thereby promoting the glorious tradition of the Industry and Trade sector.

According to Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh, October 2, 1945 - the day Minister of National Economy Nguyen Manh Ha in the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam signed Decree No. 8-BKT/VP on the organization of the National Economy Ministry, in which Article 4 of the Decree on the Departments of Affairs included the third department, the Department of Economic Magazine, responsible for publishing the Vietnam Economic Magazine. On that basis, October 2 was chosen as the founding date and also the traditional day of the Industry and Trade Newspaper.

"The option of choosing October 2, 1945 was determined to have both historical significance, demonstrating the length and depth of the newspaper's history, and to have documents and decisions from competent authorities to prove it, as well as to have educational significance for traditions and profound human values" - Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh emphasized and said that with a tradition of nearly 80 years and with the spirit of "remembering the source of water when drinking water", through the conversation with the "living history book about Uncle Ho", the leaders of Cong Thuong Newspaper hope to do better in propaganda and education work, especially for the young generation of journalists, to promote the tradition and pride of a multi-sectoral Ministry, playing a very important role in the country's economy.
