Starting from September 2024, Honda Vietnam has implemented a policy of adjusting the retail price of the Honda City line, bringing extremely attractive prices to consumers. This is the first time in history that the starting price of the Honda City has dropped below 500 million VND, a price that was previously unimaginable for a quality B-class sedan like the City.
Specifically, the Honda City G version is now priced at 499 million VND, a reduction of 60 million VND compared to the old price. The Honda City L and Honda City RS versions are also reduced by 50 million VND and 40 million VND respectively.
The sharp price reduction of Honda City has not only made it difficult for B-segment cars such as Toyota Vios and Hyundai Accent to maintain their leading position in sales, but also directly threatened A-segment cars such as Hyundai Grand i10 and Kia Morning, which have lower prices but lack many equipment and features compared to City.

In terms of appearance, the Honda City has some slight improvements in the front of the car with a honeycomb grille and large chrome strip. The cockpit remains unchanged from the old version, with an analog clock combined with a 4.2-inch color screen behind the steering wheel. Equipment only available on the RS and L versions includes single-zone automatic air conditioning, rear air vents, 8-speaker audio (4-speaker G version), and remote vehicle start.
Honda keeps the 1.5 petrol engine for the new City, a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder with 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of maximum torque. CVT transmission. Combined fuel consumption according to the announcement is 5.6 liters/100 km.
