Today (December 28), Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that the Ho Chi Minh City Police force was honored to receive the emulation flag from the Prime Minister. Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam - Director of the City Police was awarded the First Class Military Exploit Medal.

Previously, on the afternoon of December 27, in Hanoi, the Organizing Committee of the 80th National Public Security Conference announced and presented awards and emulation titles of the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in work and combat.

Authorized by the President, Minister Luong Tam Quang awarded the First Class Military Exploit Medal to two groups, including: the Department of Security Investigation; the Department of Economic Police and three individuals, including: Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam (Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police), Colonel Vu Nhu Ha (Director of Lang Son Provincial Police); Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuan (Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police).

On this occasion, the Prime Minister signed a Decision to award the title of National Emulation Fighter to 13 individuals of the Ministry of Public Security with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
