Professional Triathlon is one of the official competitions at major events such as the Olympics, ASIAD and SEA Games. Different from the familiar IRONMAN tournament, Professional Triathlon has a shorter distance, allows cyclists to take cover in the wind and has dramatic mixed relay events.
The tournament is organized according to World Triathlon standards with strict regulations on littering, bicycle circling, strict requirements on bicycle types as well as competition costumes of athletes.
The Department of Sports and Physical Training, VTRIF and Quang Ngai province hope that this event will contribute to raising awareness and interest in triathlon, while creating a healthy and professional playground for athletes nationwide.
Also on this occasion, VTRIF launched its new Brand Identity - a symbol of movement, with the mission of "Leading in developing young talent and building a sustainable, strong Triathlon community across Vietnam".
