Make in Vietnam Award honors outstanding products in AI, Bigdata, IoT, semiconductors

The 2024 "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" Award adds the "Outstanding New Digital Technology Product" category to honor outstanding products applying AI, Bigdata, IoT, and Semiconductor technologies. The award ceremony will be held in December 2024.

The "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" Award 2024 was launched at the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The information was released at the press conference to announce and launch the 2024 "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" Award organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on August 22. 2024 is the 5th year the Award has been held to honor outstanding digital technology products, bringing pride to Vietnamese intelligence. The Organizing Committee expects the Award to create new momentum for economic growth, create national competitive advantages and increase labor productivity, create more practical and comprehensive results, bringing value to people and businesses in digital transformation, developing the digital economy for industries, socio-economic fields and new digital technology products. The Award also continues to honor Vietnamese digital technology products that conquer the world, contribute to the development of humanity and make Vietnam prosperous. Of the 8 categories of the 2025 Awards, there are 5 categories for digital technology products serving digital transformation and digital economic development in industries and fields. These categories basically cover all economic sectors of Vietnam, demonstrating digital application innovations, digital transformation for industries and fields, promoting labor productivity improvement. In particular, the first category is outstanding digital technology products in the industrial and construction sector (information technology industry; mining industry; energy, processing and manufacturing industry; consumer goods manufacturing industry; construction).

Second, the category of outstanding CNS products in the fields of agriculture, resources and environment (agriculture, forestry, fisheries, resources and environment); Third, the category of outstanding CNS products in the fields of transportation, post and logistics; Second, the category of outstanding CNS products in the fields of education, health, culture and society; Second, the category of outstanding CNS products in the fields of finance, banking, trade and services (finance, banking, trade, insurance, tourism); In particular, this year's Make in Vietnam Awards adds the category of outstanding new technology products to search for and honor outstanding products applying AI, Bigdata, IoT, and Semiconductors.

The award also maintains 2 categories as in 2023: Outstanding CNS products for foreign markets and Potential CNS products.

Make in Vietnam 2023 Award Ceremony within the framework of the National Forum on Developing Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises, held in December 2023.

Each award category will have the following awards: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Top 10. The Organizing Committee will accept registrations and applications for the Award until October 22, 2024. From August 22, 2024 to September 21, 2024, businesses can make preliminary registrations and receive guidance from the Award Standing Agency to prepare documents according to the Regulations. The form of submitting documents online is at the Award Electronic Information Portal: giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mic.gov.vn The award ceremony will be held in December 2024 within the framework of the National Forum on Developing Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises.

CNS products, solutions, and services that win Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards will receive Cups and Certificates of Award. The Minister of Information and Communications will award Certificates of Merit to Gold Award winning units. Top 10 winning units will receive Certificates of Award.
