Convincing victory of Vietnamese representative at top 6 competition
On November 12, the final round of Miss International 2024 took place in Tokyo (Japan) with the victory for the representative of Vietnam, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy. The 22-year-old beauty gradually went through the competitions including: Swimsuit performance, national costume performance, evening gown performance and behavior before winning the crown.
In each round, Thanh Thuy always maintained her confidence, stability and certainty. Especially, in the behavioral round, the beauty cleverly used English and Japanese to answer. With reasonable, clear and fluent emphasis, she received applause from the audience.
Before the final round, Thanh Thuy received high praise from beauty sites. Among them, Missosology predicted that the Vietnamese representative would be in the top 20 and ranked 15th. However, in the final round, she shone at the right time and deservedly won.

The new Miss International Thanh Thuy is 1.75m tall, has measurements of 80-63-94cm, and has a delicate and harmonious face. The outfits she wore to the contest were also elegant, graceful, and in line with the style of the contest organized by Japan. Her gentleness and femininity helped Thanh Thuy score points with the judges as well as the audience watching the contest.

In nearly a year since being crowned Miss Vietnam, Thanh Thuy spent time improving her knowledge, participating in entertainment events to learn performance skills, and preparing for her first international beauty pageant.
With a background as a foreign language student, studying regularly in a foreign language environment, communicating in English is not an obstacle for Thanh Thuy. She has intelligently developed her foreign language ability throughout the journey to participate in the competition.
In the behavioral rounds, the new Miss International always did very well, showing composure when talking. During the semi-final night, she said: "It is an honor for me to stand here and feel proud when hearing you say "hello". Currently, I am studying English and Korean. In the near future, I also plan to learn Japanese because I really love Japanese culture.

During the final night, Thanh Thuy's victory received much praise and support from the international audience. The Missosology website posted pictures of Thanh Thuy and the moment she was crowned, along with words of encouragement for the 22-year-old beauty.
At the moment of coronation, Thanh Thuy choked up and said: "I am the first Miss Vietnam to come to Miss International. And now, I am the first Miss International from Vietnam. Finally, I deserve all the love and support of Vietnamese and international audiences."
Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy (born in 2002) won the title of Miss University of Foreign Languages under the University of Danang, 1st runner-up of the 2021 Danang City Elegant Students Contest before becoming Miss Vietnam.
Thanh Thuy has quite good academic achievements. She won second prize in the City-level literature competition in 2016 and often takes on the role of a speaker at the activities of the Youth Union - Student Association at school.
Currently, Thanh Thuy is studying at the University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang) and Greenwich University, Vietnam. Recently, she has attended many events, fashion shows, talked with university students, and carried out meaningful community activities.
