Volleyball Tournament to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day

This morning, November 16, at the Quang Tri Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held the opening ceremony of the Volleyball Tournament to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day, November 18 (1930 - 2024). Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Truong Duc Minh Tu; Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Quoc Khanh attended.

The volleyball tournament took place in 1 day, gathering more than 60 athletes from 6 teams: Quang Tri Newspaper, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Gio Linh, Cam Lo, Vinh Linh districts and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

6 teams are divided into 2 groups A and B; compete in a round robin to calculate points in each group, selecting 4 teams with the highest and second highest scores in the 2 groups to compete in the semi-finals and finals.

The tournament is organized to create a useful playground for athletes and sports enthusiasts to meet, exchange and strengthen solidarity; at the same time, arouse and develop the sports movement, improve the health and spiritual and cultural life of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels and party agencies.
