Gasoline prices increased simultaneously in the first operating session of the year

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just announced an adjustment in gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, January 2, with a uniform increase across all products.

Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline has a new price of VND20,050/liter, an increase of VND240/liter compared to the current base price.

Similarly, RON 95-III gasoline has a new price of VND20,740/liter, an increase of VND200/liter.

The price of 0.05S diesel oil has been adjusted up to 18,750 VND/liter, an increase of 120 VND/liter. The new price of kerosene is 18,830 VND/liter, an increase of 130 VND/liter compared to the current base price; the price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil is adjusted to 16,090 VND/kg, an increase of 120 VND/kg.

In this management period, the joint ministries decided to continue not to set aside and not to use the gasoline price stabilization fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline, RON 95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and fuel oil.

According to the joint agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market during the period from December 26 to January 2 is affected by many factors with the main upward trend.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade said the time for petrol traders to adjust is 3:00 p.m. today, January 2.

The Ministry said that in order to adjust gasoline prices, it will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of the responsibility of ensuring gasoline supply for the market by gasoline traders, and will strictly handle violations.
