Gia Lai: Ensuring absolute security and safety for graduation exams

(GLO)- According to the assessment of Gia Lai Provincial Police, on the first day of the 2023 High School Graduation Exam, 41 testing sites in the province were safe and no incidents occurred.

On the first day of the high school graduation exam, the work of deploying security, order, traffic safety at the exam locations and coordinating the supervision and absolute protection of the areas containing exam papers and test papers at the exam locations took place safely; the handling of violations of the law related to the exam such as: leaking exam papers, losing exam papers, negative, cheating in exams... was also tightened. Responsible officers performed the task of checking and issuing citizen identification cards or personal identification codes to students; confirming the place of residence (if required) to enjoy preferential treatment in high school graduation and university and college admissions... Gia Lai Provincial Police issued documents and assigned forces with 378 officers and soldiers of 15 department-level units and 17 district, town and city police to participate in ensuring security and order, supporting the exam.

In Pleiku City, there are 8 high school graduation exam sites in 2023. In recent days, around the exam sites, the police force has participated in ensuring security and safety for all stages of exam organization, preparing fire prevention and fighting plans, ensuring traffic order and safety before and during the exam; strengthening patrols and controls in cyberspace, proactively preventing, promptly detecting and handling complicated situations related to security and order.

Lieutenant Colonel Ho Thanh Son - Captain of the Traffic Police - Order Team of Pleiku City Police informed: Implementing the direction of the Provincial Police Director, the leaders of Pleiku City Police, on June 27 and 28, from early morning, 100% of the Traffic Police - Order force of the City Police coordinated with local self-management teams with examination sites to patrol, control, organize traffic flow, maintain order at intersections, avoid complicated situations, traffic jams on key routes, gates of schools where exams are held; at the same time, promptly have plans to support the travel of candidates, parents and exam supervisors when necessary. Up to this point, at examination sites in Pleiku City, traffic situation is favorable, safe, no incidents have occurred...

In An Khe town, where there are 3 high school graduation exam sites in 2023. On the morning of June 28, Lieutenant Colonel Ksor H'Bo Khap - Deputy Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police, Deputy of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2023 high school graduation exam, inspected the work of ensuring security and safety at the exam sites in An Khe town. Here, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police urged the task force to strictly perform the assigned tasks, uphold the sense of responsibility, be cautious, properly implement the exam regulations, strictly comply with the People's Public Security's orders, proactively prevent, detect and handle complicated situations regarding security and order in exam protection work; at the same time, highly appreciated the town Police for developing a plan, deploying and arranging forces to protect the exam. In addition, Lieutenant Colonel Ksor H' Bo Khap visited and encouraged the youth union members participating in the exam support campaign to try to help and support students to arrive at the exam site on time, preserve students' belongings to avoid loss, and promote the meaning and importance of the exam so that family members do not gather in front of the school gate... Also on June 28, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department inspected the work of ensuring security and safety at exam sites in districts and towns in the eastern and southeastern regions of the province.

According to the assessment of Gia Lai Provincial Police, on the first day of the 2023 High School Graduation Exam, security and safety at 41 exam sites in the province were ensured, with no incidents occurring. However, in order for the following exam days to take place safely and smoothly, Gia Lai Provincial Police recommends that candidates and parents take the initiative in arranging time to arrive at exam sites on time and prepare for situations that may arise on the way to the exam sites. In addition, the number of people at the exam sites is very large, so parents and students need to be vigilant in protecting their vehicles and personal property; do not bring unnecessary items, especially valuables, to the exam sites.
