(Dan Tri) - The Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), announced the extension of the registration period for studying in the Russian Federation in 2025 to March 31.
Accordingly, the deadline for registering for the 2025 Russian Federation Study Abroad Agreement scholarship has been extended by 2.5 months. Candidates wishing to study in the Russian Federation in 2025 need to register on the Education-in-russia.com information system portal from now until March 31.
Applicants must accurately fill in the application form (Анкета), provide a photo, scan of passport, scan of academic results (or certificate of study period) and submit the completed application in "for verification" status.

Each candidate can choose up to 6 universities to apply to. Successful candidates will receive free tuition for the entire period of study, a monthly scholarship and accommodation in a dormitory from the Government of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, candidates are provided with a round-trip air ticket, travel expenses, passport and visa fees, health insurance, and a monthly living allowance according to the Government's regulations for scholarship students in the Russian Federation.
In 2025, in addition to the Russian Federation Agreement scholarship, the Department of International Cooperation will also enroll students for the study abroad agreement scholarship programs in Hungary, China, Cuba, Canada, etc.
Specifically, the Hungarian Government grants 200 scholarships to Vietnamese citizens in priority fields of study including: Science and Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Semiconductors, Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Education, Economics, Medical and Health Sciences, Agriculture, Natural Sciences, Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, Law, Architecture, Veterinary Medicine, Sports Science.
Scholarships are offered for undergraduate to doctoral programs of 3-6 years duration, including short-term programs of 3-10 months.
The Hungarian Government will provide free training, research, health insurance, accommodation and living expenses. The Vietnamese Government will provide a scholarship subsidy for up to half of the total quota, including: round-trip airfare, travel expenses, passport and visa fees and living expenses according to current regulations.
With the agreement scholarship to China, the enrollment quota is only 34 places. The bachelor's program lasts 4-5 years, the master's program lasts 2-4 years and the doctoral program lasts 3-5 years.
The Chinese government provides free tuition for the study period, accommodation, medical insurance, study materials and monthly scholarships.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese Government provides one-way and one-way air tickets, passport and visa fees, travel expenses and living allowances according to current regulations based on the level of support from China for Vietnamese students.
Also in 2025, the Cuban Government will grant 14 full scholarships for university training to Vietnamese students. There are 7 quotas for medical training and 7 quotas for other training. The training period is 5-6 years, including 1 year of preparatory Spanish language study.
The admission requirements are that students graduate from high school in 2025, have a high school academic result of 7.0 or higher, have participated in the national team to compete in the International Olympics and won medals or participated in the national excellent student selection exam, national science and technology competition and won first, second, third prizes, and have university admission results in 2025 when completing the school admission procedures.
In addition, first-year students of Vietnamese universities, colleges and colleges with results of 3 years of high school and first semester of first year university of 7.0 or higher are also eligible to apply.
Registration deadline is May 1.
