Meeting to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the tradition of Military Hospital 175

Military Hospital 175 pays tribute to former leaders and commanders of the Hospital through the periods.

Major General, Dr. Tran Quoc Viet - Party Committee Secretary, Director of Military Hospital 175 chaired the program and attended with comrades in the Party Committee of the Board of Directors; former leaders and commanders of the Hospital through the periods; commanders of the Departments, Offices, Boards, Institutes, and Centers under the Hospital.

This is one of the activities to celebrate the traditional day of BVQY175, thereby arousing the honor, pride, and determination of the officers, soldiers, and employees of the Hospital to continue to promote the tradition, strive to fulfill the vision of the Hospital by 2030 to soon become a multi-functional, specialized, modern military medical complex, on par with the region, reaching international standards, and successfully completing the task of caring for and protecting the health of soldiers and people.

Rewarding groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing emulation movements of the Hospital.

The program took place solemnly and warmly with the opening part featuring vivid, colorful but equally touching images of the art program performed by the BVQY175 Mass Art Troupe with the theme: "50 years of continuing to write the golden history page". This is the program that participated in the "10th Mass Art Festival of the Armed Forces and Youth and Students of the Whole Army in 2024" which was held in April 2024 with high-prize winning performances, carrying the unique color of BVQY175.

Next, the ceremony also paid tribute to former leaders and commanders through the periods; honored 54 comrades who are officers and employees who are working and have been continuously attached to the Hospital for 30 years or more; and congratulated two comrades, Major General Nguyen Van Binh and Major General Hoang Thanh Binh - Former Political Commissar of BVQY175, who just received the 50-year Party membership badge.

On this occasion, the Hospital also awarded outstanding collectives, individuals and units in implementing the emulation movement to build the image of hospital staff "Polite - Compassionate - Talented - Professional" after 1 year of launching the movement and the contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). In addition, the program also awarded prizes to individuals and collectives with good achievements in implementing the "Friendly Smile" campaign. The campaign has gradually changed the awareness and actions, sense of responsibility and determination in performing the tasks of cadres, soldiers, workers and employees of the entire Hospital, especially the team of nurses, doctors and technicians who have not been afraid of difficulties and hardships, day and night silently doing a good job of taking care of the health of soldiers and people.

Speaking at the program, Major General Tran Quoc Viet, on behalf of the Board of Directors, sent the best wishes to generations of staff and employees of the Hospital. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude, pride and appreciation for the efforts, silent but extremely great contributions, and remarkable results of the Hospital's staff through the periods; the solidarity and high determination of the entire team, staff and employees throughout the process of building, growing and developing the Hospital. The Major General also advised the young generations of BVQY175 to continue the tradition, build the hospital to develop more and more while always keeping the flame of enthusiasm, having the desire and ambition to continuously contribute to the medical industry and the army.

Military Hospital 175 was established after the complete liberation of the South, from three hospitals K116, K72, K59 with the original name of Military Hospital 175 and took May 26, 1975 as its traditional day. The hospital was assigned by the Party, State, and Army to build it into a final-line hospital in the Southern region. After 49 years of construction and development, the hospital was also honored to receive the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" twice for the great contributions and dedication of generations of doctors, officers, soldiers, employees, and workers of the hospital in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; it is also an honor and pride for the Military Medical sector in particular and the entire army in general.
