On the afternoon of October 10, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting with the delegation of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee to attend the 8th National Congress of Vietnamese Catholics for National Construction and Defense, term 2023 - 2028.

Attending the meeting were comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Le Van Kien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Do Viet Anh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, congratulated the 10 delegates attending this congress. At the same time, he hoped that the delegates would perform their duties well at the congress, reflect the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the province's parishioners, and actively participate in activities within the framework of the congress.

He affirmed that in recent times, Catholics in the province have promoted the spirit of solidarity, making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.

In the coming time, he believes that the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee, priests, monks, and Catholics will continue to accompany the government to build Ninh Binh province to become more and more civilized, modern, and affectionate...

Comrade Do Viet Anh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, presented flowers to congratulate the provincial delegation attending the congress.

At the meeting, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Do Viet Anh, along with leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Provincial Police presented flowers and gifts to congratulate the provincial delegation attending the congress.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Tran Van Nghiep, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee, thanked the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for their attention; affirmed that the members of the delegation would seriously contribute their enthusiastic opinions, contributing to the overall success of the congress.

The Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee will continue to guide parishioners to properly implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, and actively carry out patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the locality.

The 8th National Congress of Vietnamese Catholics Building and Defending the Fatherland took place from October 11-12 in Hanoi with the theme "Company - Sharing - Service", with the participation of 400 official delegates.
