On August 29, 2024, the Center for Knowledge Transfer and Startup Support, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CSK) organized a program to Connect scientists, research groups and businesses. The event aims to attract ideas and solutions to solve practical problems, thereby increasing the transfer and commercialization of scientific and technological products, developing startups/spinoffs to serve the development of the social community in general and businesses in particular. The program has the participation of delegates from central ministries, branches, businesses
enterprises, business associations, leaders of Hanoi National University and universities, research institutes, scientists, research groups inside and outside Hanoi National University.
Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem, Director of the VNU-CSK Center, said that strengthening cooperation between scientists, research groups and businesses is very important. This is an inevitable trend in the development process of countries to link scientific research with practice, stemming from practical needs and solving practical problems. Only then will the results and products created be quickly applied in practice, contributing to promoting economic growth and improving the quality of life for the people. VNU-CSK is the unit assigned by Hanoi National University to be the focal point for implementing innovation and entrepreneurship work. The Center has been supporting scientists, learners as well as
businesses on activities such as: Creating and developing intellectual property; Receiving and transferring knowledge, applying scientific and technological products; Incubating technology, supporting startups, developing innovation ecosystems, training and research on demand to support business development.

The two spin-off businesses are Greentech Green Technology Joint Stock Company of the research group of Dr. Bui Thi Thanh Huong (University of
Interdisciplinary Science and Arts, VNU) and the Microbial Biotechnology Application Company Limited (AMBIO) of the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology, VNU were officially launched.
In addition, 5 projects have signed incubation contracts to perfect the technology and can become businesses in the near future. Specifically, the Nanogel Project - natural gel combined with nano silver helps create a protective membrane for open wounds to replace the skin before the wound heals; 3SR Project - smart green mini supermarket, automatic machines that allow retail of essential consumer goods, household appliances, automatic sale of liquids and deployment of EPR for manufacturers through an automatic packaging collection system, accumulating points for exchange; Duachua24h Project - clean vegetable pickling technology; Ladee Project - specialized laundry detergent products for underwear, dedicated to women's physiological problems; Bizmatee Project - a platform for finding suitable partners and co-founders using AI suggestion technology.
