At the Conference, delegates listened to the thematic information: "Socio-economic situation in the first 7 months of 2024; socio-economic development plan for the last months of 2024", presented by Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung.
According to Deputy Minister Do Thanh Trung, the socio-economic situation in the first 7 months has confirmed a clear recovery, with each month being more positive than the previous month, each quarter being more positive than the previous quarter, achieving many important and comprehensive results. The economic growth in the first 6 months reached 6.42%. From now until the end of the year, the Government requires all levels, sectors and localities to continue to resolutely, synchronously and effectively implement a number of key tasks and solutions to remove and immediately handle difficulties and obstacles in terms of institutions, laws and administrative procedures, ensuring progress and quality, ensuring macroeconomic stability and major balances of the economy, focusing on controlling inflation.
Also at the Conference, delegates listened to information on the topic: "Current situation of religion, belief and state management of religion in our country; directions, tasks and solutions in the coming time", presented by Head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vu Hoai Bac.

Orienting propaganda and concluding the Conference, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy requested the Propaganda Departments of provincial Party Committees, city Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, socio-political organizations, reporters at all levels and grassroots propagandists to focus on propagating some key contents in two thematic information reports at the Conference;
Focus on propagating the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969-2024) and the 55th anniversary of his death (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2024); the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024); the great victories and historical achievements of the country over the past nearly eight decades, especially after nearly 40 years of implementing the national renewal policy initiated and led by the Party;
Propagating some other important contents: Results of important foreign affairs activities of Party and State leaders in the coming time; the article "Determination to build a strong Party, a rich, democratic, fair and civilized Vietnam" by General Secretary and President To Lam.
