Nearly 11,700 candidates have not arrived at the exam site to complete procedures this afternoon, according to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training.
On the afternoon of July 27, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that the total number of candidates coming to complete procedures for the high school graduation exam was 1,012,400, accounting for 98.86% of the total number of candidates registered for the exam.
For nearly 11,700 candidates who have not completed the procedures, the test site will support them early tomorrow morning, before the Literature exam. According to Mr. Nguyen Gia Khanh, head of the Luong The Vinh Secondary and High School test site in Hanoi, if they arrive in time, these candidates will still be given exam notices and informed about the regulations, before taking the first subject.

According to the Ministry's assessment, the day of procedures took place safely and seriously. The examination councils implemented solutions to support candidates, disseminated full regulations, reported cases that needed adjustment, and helped candidates correct errors during the registration process.
Heavy rains in some areas made it difficult for many candidates to travel. For example, in Phu Tho, the Phuong Xa High School exam site in Cam Khe district was deeply flooded after heavy rain. The district police, the Youth Union, the commune militia and local people were mobilized to use small trucks and traffic police cars to help candidates enter the exam site to complete procedures. In Lang Son, the Huu Lan commune militia and many teachers helped build a temporary bridge to transport candidates to the exam site.
The high school graduation exam will take place over the next two days. On the morning of June 28, candidates will take the Literature test for 120 minutes, and the Math test in the afternoon for 90 minutes. On June 29, candidates will take the Natural Science or Social Science test for 150 minutes in the morning and the Foreign Language test for 60 minutes in the afternoon.
In addition to using the results to consider high school graduation recognition, more than 100 universities are using this exam score for admission.
