The 6th “Overcoming Fate” contest aims to promote, introduce, honor and replicate examples of young people and people with disabilities, who are in difficult circumstances, but always nurture a strong will and desire to overcome harsh fate. Especially during the time affected by the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
The organizers awarded a special prize to author Nguyen Thi Thanh Thanh for her work Overcoming Fate.
This contest contributes to promoting the dynamism and creativity of young people in establishing themselves, starting a career, becoming masters of their lives, and actively contributing to the development of their homeland and country, so that all classes of people, especially the young generation today, can learn and follow.
After more than 4 months, the 6th writing contest “Overcoming Fate” has received nearly 1,000 entries from all over the country. The writing contest is not only an opportunity to acknowledge, encourage and support the process of overcoming difficulties, adversities and losses that people with disabilities and orphans face every day, but also an opportunity for people with partial body disabilities and children who have lost loved ones to express their wishes and policies to avoid discrimination and integrate well into the community.
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 1 A prize, 3 B prizes, and 5 C prizes.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded: 1 special prize, 1 A prize, 3 B prizes, 5 C prizes, 3 consolation prizes for groups with many entries, prizes for the oldest contestant with the best entry and the youngest contestant with the best entry. Total prize value: 70 million VND.
The award aims to contribute to widely promoting the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement; create an environment, forum, develop scientific theory, promote the spirit of participating in research of cadres, lecturers, young scientists, serve well the teaching work, meet the requirements of scientific standards at training institutions, on the occasion of today's ceremony, Thanh Nien Magazine signed a cooperation agreement to develop scientific research activities with the following units: People's Security Academy; University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Faculty of Philosophy); Trade Union University; Academy of Administration (Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science).
