On the afternoon of April 23rd, the biggest Viewing Party ever was organized by GAM, SE, along with the tournament operators VNG and Riot. Spanning four locations – Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, and Da Nang – this marked the first time in Vietnam that two teams considered fierce rivals joined forces to create an exciting competition for their fans.
Fans were on the edge of their seats watching the GAM vs. SBTC showdown in the League of Legends finals.

Since SBTC was founded, SE and GAM have been considered fierce rivals. However, for the sake of their fans, the two sides joined forces to create an unprecedented atmosphere, a spectacular event that they collaborated on with VNG and Riot, the operators of the League of Legends tournament in Vietnam, to give fans an experience previously only available in strong regional countries like the LCK or LPL.

Hundreds of people lined up to watch the final match.
In the Playoff stage, SBTC showed a completely different side, pushing to game 5 against GAM in the winners' bracket final and crushing CES 3-0 in the losers' bracket to secure a rematch against GAM in the grand final.
However, contrary to fans' expectations, SBTC fell behind GAM 2-0 too quickly. In Game 3, the "Pink Chickens" seemed to awaken, successfully nurturing Slayder and overwhelmingly defeating GAM, narrowing the score to 2-1 and giving their fans hope. Game 4 started like a dream, with Slayder continuing his dominance and Dia1 wielding Sylas wreaking havoc on the opposing team. Just when fans were thinking about a Game 5, GAM said no. From a disastrous dragon fight, SE was wiped out, and GAM regained the advantage, the match slipping away from SE in a heartbreaking manner.
The GAM team advanced to claim the championship and officially became the team representing Vietnam (VCS) in London (England) to compete in MSI.

GAM team lifts the championship trophy.
With GAM winning the Spring Split, the road ahead is a major challenge for them as they will face T1, GEN.G, and others at MSI, where even a small mistake can be costly.
