Tan Trao is known as a "red address" of origin tourism. This place has witnessed the glorious milestones of the nation in the heroic long-term resistance war and preserves many valuable historical relics. In order to preserve and promote the advantages of the locality, the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province has recently approved a public investment capital of 95 billion VND to restore the Tan Trao historical relic site.
Meanwhile, some private investors have also realized the potential for tourism development in Tan Trao, not only stopping at the relic clusters but also coming from the unique and diverse culture. This area is a long-standing home to ethnic minority communities such as Tay, Nung, Dao, Cao Lan, San Diu... Each ethnic group has its own distinct customs and unique festivals throughout the year. Regarding folk songs alone, the Tay have Then, Coi; the Dao have Pao Dung; the Cao Lan have Sinh Ca; the Nung have Sli, the San Diu have Soong Co. Some festivals include: Cap Sac Festival (Dao people), Long Tong Festival (Tay people), May and Season Festivals, etc.

"The cultural beauty of the ethnic communities in the area is like precious gems, a great material for developing tourism. However, most activities here are still taking place on a small scale, lacking connection. If planning and chaining those cultural values into a unified, professional complex, Tan Trao will have the motivation to shine brightly on the Vietnamese tourism map," said Mr. Tran Trong Binh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Flamingo Holdings.
