After more than half a month of installation, the stage of the 10th Dalat Flower Festival - 2024 has just been revealed by the organizers to be the most unique and magnificent ever, basically completed, ready for the opening night on the evening of December 5. This will be one of the highlights of this year's festival season, which is known to be truly different and magnificent.
The magnificent stage is "unique and different"
Director of Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien said that this stage shows the idea of the 10th Festival as one of the flower festivals affirming the potential and strengths of the locality, especially expressing the aspiration to rise in the new era, the era of national rise.
Accordingly, there will be a colorful space that takes the audience on a journey of experiencing the pinnacle of art, satisfying both sight and hearing, "exploding" in the middle of Lam Vien Square on the opening night of December 5 with many special art programs, elaborately staged. In particular, the organizers affirmed that the main stage is designed to be "more unique and different" than previous events.
With 20 years of experience in the design field, Creative Director of the Opening Ceremony of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival, artist Pham Xuan Hai revealed: "The Opening Night stage is designed as a symphony of colors, with high and low shapes, large flower clusters, domes and flower walls."
“Each scene, each segment is a highlight highlighting the literary meaning of each period: Flowers of the origin of the earth and sky; Flowers of the people of Lam Dong; Flowers of the convergence of all directions. Crystallized and converged by the levels of sound, light, technical effects of the LED screen, mapping screen, laser screen and drone light, all combined into an artistic picture in the language of cinema,” said artist Pham Xuan Hai.
The representative of the organizing committee affirmed that the stage of the 10th Dalat Flower Festival - 2024 is one of the largest stages ever in Dalat, with a total performance floor area of nearly 2,000m2. The highlight of the stage is 5 large LED screens with a total area of nearly 1,000m2. The large rotating floor system and electric triangulation system are also applied to the art performances.
The stage with the space created as a film set with the colors of the decorative clusters of miniature flowers typical of Da Lat such as: roses, mimosa, hydrangeas, wild sunflowers, in which the image of wild sunflowers is exploited to express the spirit of solidarity and rise of Da Lat people.
Art space creates a multi-emotional journey
According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong, coming to the Opening Night of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024, the multi-layered stage and multi-dimensional space will create unlimited experiences for thousands of visitors. The space of thousands of flowers will open the senses, awaken the enjoyment to take visitors on a journey to discover the land of thousands of colorful flowers, the city of creative music with dreamy souls.
Director of Gia Pham Trading Joint Stock Company (the unit that organized the Opening Ceremony of the 10th Dalat Flower Festival), Mr. Pham Xuan Hai also revealed that the Opening Night was heavily invested in to create splendid stage effects and creative visuals with the desire to bring impressive sublime moments to the performances of hundreds of artists and top singers in Vietnam.
Bringing the cultural identity of “Da Lat Flowers” to a stage with strict performance standards, the representative of the organizing committee committed that the colorful symphony space of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 will be a place where tens of thousands of audiences have the opportunity to immerse themselves in emotional levels, directly experience top-notch performances, and at the same time affirm the position of the largest flower festival in Vietnam./.
