Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 honors sea and island cultural heritage

(Fatherland) - Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 has the theme "Space of cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa sea and islands", focusing on the interaction of the community and tourists.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 (Sea Festival 2025).

The Sea Festival is organized by Khanh Hoa province every two years. 2025 is the 11th year of the program, lasting for 3 days (from June 7-9, 2025) with the theme "Space of cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa sea and islands".

After 10 successful events, it has left a good impression on the people and domestic and international tourists. Therefore, the 2025 Sea Festival aims to preserve, inherit and promote the tradition and brand of the program, while at the same time innovating, supplementing and mobilizing the participation of the community in organizing festival programs, focusing on enhancing the interaction of the community and tourists.

The 2025 Sea Festival activities will take place mainly at locations in Nha Trang City such as 2/4 Square; Thanh Nien football field; along the coast of Tran Phu Street;... and at district-level localities in Khanh Hoa province. The opening ceremony of the program will take place on the evening of June 7 with the name "Bright pearl of the East Sea". The following day, there will be a street caravan program, a sea sports performance called "Sea city joins the festival" and an international art program called "Come back to the sea". The closing ceremony called "Sea, island of love" will take place on the evening of June 9.

In addition to the main activities mentioned above, before, during and after the 2025 Sea Festival, there will be many other activities and events focusing on 7 groups including: Group of performing arts activities; group of traditional cultural festivals; group of exhibition and creative activities; group of traditional sea sports activities, international sea sports; group of tourism activities; group of culinary activities; group of commercial activities.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, the 2025 Sea Festival is a comprehensive program of cultural, artistic and festival activities reflecting traditional and contemporary cultural features; preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of the country in general and Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa in particular.

At the same time, it contributes to promoting the potential and strengths of Khanh Hoa province in terms of economy, culture, sports, tourism and sustainable development prospects; calling on domestic and international organizations and individuals to invest in Khanh Hoa in the spirit of cooperation and friendship, contributing to promoting the industrialization and modernization process in the integration and development trend of the whole country.

Cultural, sports and tourism activities in the 2025 Sea Festival will create an atmosphere of solidarity, expressing the respect and hospitality of local people towards domestic and international tourists and friends, contributing to the successful implementation of Action Program No. 30-CTr/TU dated February 23, 2022 of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW, dated January 28, 2022 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045./.
