Phan Thiet City is investing in a series of projects to beautify the urban area. Many roads have been renovated or upgraded such as Le Duan, Nguyen Thong, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Nguyen Tat Thanh... creating a smooth and seamless traffic system in Phan Thiet city from the city center to the Ham Tien - Mui Ne National Tourist Area. Among the roads being built, Tran Quy Cap is relatively important because it is the gateway to the city center (not counting Le Duan). For a tourist city, when visitors first arrive, almost everyone tries to observe and remember the first "facade" of the place they are visiting. And this is one of the important "dots" for a tourist city like Phan Thiet.

Tran Quy Cap Street is more open than before.

The Tran Quy Cap Street upgrade project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee with the goal of completing the infrastructure of Phan Thiet according to the plan, reducing traffic congestion, especially during rush hours, and rearranging the population in the area to accelerate the urbanization rate, in accordance with the criteria for urban infrastructure development. The scale of the project's investment and construction has a total length of 2,683.29m. The starting point is at the Y-shaped gate intersection, Duc Long ward and the end point is the southern roundabout of Phan Thiet city, Tien Loi commune. The road has a cross-section, a road surface width of 15m, and a sidewalk width of 5m on each side. The structure is made of 12.5mm dense asphalt concrete, 4cm thick and 19mm thick, 6cm thick. The sidewalk structure is made of prefabricated Granite stone, 2cm thick M100 cement mortar layer, 1x2 cm stone concrete base layer, 6cm thick. The sidewalk will be paved with imitation stone concrete tiles. The mortar layer is 2cm thick, the concrete layer is 1x2cm and 6cm thick. 181 golden bell trees will be planted, 3.7-5m high. Drainage system along the road, anti-odor manhole with flap valve, lighting with 150W LED bulbs. Total investment is 151 billion VND, of which compensation, support and resettlement costs are 62 billion VND; Construction costs are 61 billion VND. The project will be implemented in 4 years (phase 2021-2025 and transition to phase 2026-2030). Investment capital and planned capital arrangement according to project implementation progress from the city budget capital for the period 2021-2025 and transition to the period 2026-2030... Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri - Deputy Director of the Phan Thiet City Construction Investment Project Management Board - the project investor said: The project was started in December 2022, currently the construction of the traffic road and drainage system has been completed, the sidewalks of 40% of the sections without compensation have been completed....
