The VND1,000 billion road through the mangrove forest connecting Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway with Phuoc An port has gradually taken shape, expected to be put into operation in early 2025.
The connecting route to Phuoc An port in Nhon Trach district, the section from the intersection with Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway to Phuoc An port, 5.8km long, has been basically completed after 2 years of construction and is expected to be operational in early 2025.
To build the road, Dong Nai province converted the land use purpose of 35 hectares of mangrove forest to hand over the site to the investor for project construction.
Up to now, the route has been completed and is ready to be put into operation and used in sync with Phuoc An port.
The project is designed with two lanes, 19m wide, with a design speed of 80km/h, and will be upgraded to 4 lanes upon completion.
The toll station is about 1km from the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway intersection. Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision regulating road service prices for the BOT project of Road 319.
When put into operation, the route will connect with Ben Luc - Long Thanh and Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressways, ensuring the role of transporting goods to Phuoc An port.
