According to the Ministry of Transport, in the past time, the project management boards, construction contractors and consulting units along with thousands of officers and employees have upheld the highest sense of responsibility, strived to overcome many difficulties, mobilized all resources, worked "3 shifts, 4 shifts" regardless of day and night, holidays, with the determination to put the project into operation on May 19. This is a practical result to celebrate the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).
Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway
The highway is only for cars. The following subjects are not allowed to participate in traffic on the highway: Pedestrians, rudimentary vehicles, motorbikes, motorcycles and tractors, and specialized motorbikes with a design speed of less than 70 km/h are not allowed to enter the highway (except for people, vehicles, and equipment serving the management and maintenance of the highway).
Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway Overpass
Vehicles are allowed to travel on the highway at a maximum speed of 80 km/h and a minimum speed of 60 km/h . The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway is 100.8 km long, starting from Vinh Hao commune (Tuy Phong) and ending at Ham Kiem commune (Ham Thuan Nam). The route has a cross-section of 4 lanes for two-way traffic, with emergency stopping locations (strips) arranged on the route with a distance of 4-5 km/point on the same direction of traffic. The size of each location is 270 m long (including 170 m of stopping section, 50 m of access on each side), 2.5 m wide surface, 0.75 m wide shoulder. Vehicles are allowed to operate the route from the beginning of Vinh Hao intersection connecting with the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Component Project to Ho Chi Minh City. The project has put into operation 5/5 intersections, including: Vinh Hao intersection at Km134+700, Cho Lau intersection at Km162+777, Dai Ninh intersection at Km178+655, Ma Lam intersection at Km208+701, Phan Thiet intersection at Km234+617.
