However, voters and the people continue to worry about the risk of measles and whooping cough outbreaks and spread, the increase in dengue fever; heavy rains and landslides causing loss of life and property in Ha Giang, Lao Cai, and Hanoi; tornadoes causing great damage in Ben Tre and Tien Giang provinces; consecutive earthquakes occurring in a number of localities across the country, especially in Kon Tum province; landslides on riverbanks, canals, and coastlines in the Mekong Delta; and particularly serious work accidents.

In addition, the shortage of vaccines for children in the Expanded Immunization Program in localities poses a potential risk of outbreaks of some dangerous diseases in children; the price of drugs at medical facilities, clinics, pharmacies, etc. has different and inconsistent prices; the situation of airfare The increase in domestic airlines has directly affected people's travel needs, especially during peak seasons and holidays.

The use of electric motorbikes by students is becoming more and more popular, the rate of traffic accidents involving electric motorbikes tends to increase; online fraud continues with increasingly sophisticated methods; illegal sand mining on rivers is becoming more and more complicated with sophisticated methods to deal with authorities...

Proposal to strictly control airfares

Mr. Duong Thanh Binh also said that through the report on the results of contacting voters after the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly of the National Assembly Delegation of provinces and centrally-run cities, the People's Petition Committee has compiled 831 petitions sent by voters. After reviewing and classifying, the People's Petition Committee promptly forwarded the above petitions to competent agencies for settlement in accordance with the provisions of law. The People's Petition Committee will monitor and urge voters' petitions to be resolved and responded to on time.

The agencies of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Delegation received and processed 2,451 complaints, denunciations, petitions and reflections sent by citizens (a decrease of 1,188 petitions compared to June 2024); of which 537 petitions were eligible for processing, 1,914 petitions that were not eligible for processing were archived according to regulations.

At the meeting, the Petition Committee recommended that the National Assembly Standing Committee request the Government and the Prime Minister to pay attention to directing a number of issues that voters are currently interested in, specifically as follows: Ministries and branches have solutions to more closely manage sand mining, equip modern means, strengthen inspection and examination work, at the same time, increase penalties, strictly handle violations to deter and limit the current rampant sand mining; have strict management measures to avoid information leakage, especially users' mobile phone numbers.

Ministry of Health Research early on the arrangement and allocation of vaccines in the Expanded Immunization Program for children under 5 years old to protect children and prevent dangerous infectious diseases; have specific regulations to tighten drug price management to ensure publicity and transparency when circulating drugs on the market, at the same time, protect the rights and legitimate interests of business organizations, individuals and consumers because drugs are a special type of goods, directly related to human health and life.

The Ministry of Public Security strengthens the management of traffic activities, improves patrolling, inspection, control and handling of violations against students using electric motorbikes; proactively reviews and detects early fraudulent websites, impersonating agencies and units to warn and prevent online fraud, ensuring information security for users and the brands of organizations and businesses.
