(Fatherland) - The My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board (Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam ) has just launched the My Son Heritage Community Bai Choi Singing Performance Team to serve the needs of visitors at the My Son Temple Complex.
According to the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board, this is a pilot product, aiming to build it into a product that regularly serves tourists at the Heritage Site, while also creating livelihoods for local people participating in tourism .
The My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board organized the launch of the My Son Heritage Community Bai Choi Singing Performance Team to serve the needs of visitors at the My Son Temple Complex.
Accordingly, the My Son Heritage Community Bai Choi Singing Performance Team consists of 6 members, organizing performances for tourists every Saturday and Sunday at the lobby of the My Son Museum, with 6 shows expected per day (each show lasting 15 minutes).
Along with the experiential activities that become highlights for tourists when visiting My Son Temple Complex such as Cham folk art performances, Cham brocade weaving performances, etc., the community singing performance not only helps preserve and promote the value of cultural heritage, but also contributes to creating new tourism products, diversifying My Son experience services, meeting the needs of tourists.
It is known that on December 7, 2017, the art of Bài Chòi in Central Vietnam was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
