On July 14, on social media, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov confirmed that the country's military had received from Denmark 6 unmanned vehicles specializing in clearing mines and explosive devices.

According to Minister Reznikov, the unmanned vehicles were delivered to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package that Copenhagen has provided to Kiev.

The Danish drones are capable of inspecting areas for mines and other explosive devices, he stressed.

Previously, at the end of June, Denmark approved a new military aid package for Ukraine with a total value of up to 1.3 billion Kron (190 million USD).

The aid package includes missiles for air defense systems, as well as money to buy artillery shells. The Nordic country has few artillery shells and cannot supply large quantities to the Ukrainian military.

In a related development, on the same day, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace affirmed that his statement that the West wanted to see gratitude from Kiev had been distorted by some media.

On Facebook, Secretary Wallace wrote: “My comments about how best to assist Ukraine have attracted a lot of attention and in some cases have been misinterpreted.

I have spoken about how Ukraine sometimes needs to recognise that in many countries and parliaments they do not have the same level of support as in the UK. I am not talking so much about governments, but about citizens and parliamentarians around the world.”

Previously, at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Summit in Vilnius (Lithuania) on July 11, the British Defense Minister said he wanted to warn Ukraine not to be too harsh on its allies because "people want to see gratitude", whether Kiev likes it or not.

During a visit to Ukraine last year, Mr. Wallace revealed that Ukraine had provided a list of weapons that its military needed, which reminded him of a shopping list when going to the store.

According to Minister Wallace, he responded to this move by saying that Britain was not an online store similar to Amazon so Ukraine could submit a list of all the weapons that Kiev wanted to receive.
