It is expected that land and housing will be provided to 20 households registering to migrate to Con Co island district.

To complete the project "Migration to Con Co Island in the period of 2025 - 2030" to submit to the People's Committee of Quang Tri province for approval, the People's Committee of Con Co island district has sent a document requesting the People's Committees of Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Trieu Phong, and Hai Lang districts to coordinate in disseminating the need to register migration to Con Co island district.

Specifically, the expected number is 20 households, including households under 50 years old and registered in 4 districts: Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Trieu Phong, Hai Lang, with a permanent residence of 3 years or more.

Household members must be in good health, have good morals, good personal background and wish to live long-term in Con Co island district. Priority will be given to households working in fishing, fishing logistics services, tourism services and have not been granted residential land.

The mechanisms and policies expected to be implemented include support policies on land (being allocated a campus area of ​​200 ^m2 ; being exempted from land use fees and registration fees when allocating land and granting land use right certificates), housing (being allocated a house of 42 ^m2 ), direct support (food, living expenses); support for production development (breeds, production tools) and policies on credit and health insurance.

In addition, households living on Con Co Island will enjoy central and provincial policies on fisheries development, social security policies, and economic development support as currently applied to poor households in particularly difficult areas in the province.
