DONG NAI - Thousands of people crowded into the largest artificial beach in Vietnam, 21,000 square meters wide with 4 meter high waves in Son Tien tourist area, on April 28 to escape the heat.

At 10:30 a.m. on April 28, thousands of people were having fun at the artificial beach in the water park in Son Tien tourist area, Bien Hoa city. Here, every hour or so, there are artificial waves about 4 meters high, bringing excitement to visitors.

In addition to the big waves, there are constantly small waves on the water surface that attract many children and families to play during the holidays.

Next to the artificial sea is a water park for children with models combining slides like castles. The play areas are spacious so even though there are many visitors, there is no overload.

Nguyen Vu Tuong Vy transformed into a mermaid, going down to the lake to play with children. As an employee of the tourist area, during the holidays, Vy spends 1.5 hours a day being a mermaid. "Although the weather is quite sunny, seeing the children happily surrounding me is fun," said the 21-year-old female student.

Children enjoy playing and splashing in the water at the park.

The 700-meter long lazy river that flows around the water park is also crowded with visitors.

The hot weather forces many people to cover up, wear scarves, long-sleeved shirts, masks, and sunglasses when going into the water.

By noon, the number of visitors to the water park was increasing. The entrances to the game area and the food court were packed with people.

The 25-hectare water park, which has been in operation for two years, is located on Highway 51, about 30 km from Ho Chi Minh City.
