Weather forecast 3/4/2024: Fog in the North, hot weather at noon

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (March 4), the North and North Central regions will have scattered fog and light fog early this morning, while the Northeast region will have scattered light rain in the morning.

From noon to afternoon, the whole area will be sunny and warm with the highest temperature of 25-26 degrees, especially in the Northwest where some places will be over 31 degrees. Mornings and nights will be cold with temperatures of 16-20 degrees.

In Hanoi, the weather is cloudy, with light rain, drizzle and fog in the morning; cold at night. The lowest temperature in the North and West of the city is 14-16 degrees, in the South 15-17 degrees, and in the center 17-19 degrees. By noon, the clouds will be less cloudy and the sun will shine, the temperature will increase sharply, with the highest being 23-25 degrees.

In addition, the area from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh today also has some rain, especially in the North, there is fog in the early morning; sunny in the afternoon. In the North, the morning is cold; then the early morning and night are cold.

The South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions maintain sunny weather patterns, while the Southeast region has hot weather.

Northeast

Lowest temperature: 17-20 degrees, some places in the South are over 20 degrees. Highest temperature: 24-27 degrees, some places are over 28 degrees.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Cloudy, sunny day, no rain at night. Light wind in the North, east wind level 2-3 in the South.

Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees; in the South, some places are above 32 degrees.

Central Highlands

Hanoi

The North is experiencing a rare long cold spell, and the air is still cold in March.

The cold spell lasting 7-8 days, from the end of February to March, is quite special. As soon as this cold spell ends, from March 3-4 onwards, the North will be sunny, with some places experiencing hot weather. It is forecasted that March will still have cold air.

The North and Central regions are likely to have strong sunshine right after the cold air mass.

Right after the strong cold spell on March 1-2, the weather in the North quickly increased in temperature and the sun reached 30 degrees in some places. After that, a new cold spell came in, causing the temperature in the area to drop again.
