Weather forecast April 29, 2024: The whole country continues to be 'hot as hell'

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (April 29), the Son La, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen areas continue to experience extremely hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 39-42 degrees, some places over 42 degrees; the lowest relative humidity is from 30-35%.

The Northern, Central Highlands and Southern regions have hot and extremely hot weather, some places are especially hot with the highest temperature from 36-39 degrees, some places above 39 degrees; the lowest relative humidity is 40-45%.

Particularly, the area from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan maintains the intensity of hot weather with the highest temperature from 35-36 degrees, some places over 36 degrees.

The meteorological agency continues to warn of the risk of natural disasters due to heat in the Son La, Hoa Binh areas and from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen at level 2.

Note, the forecast temperature in the heat bulletin and the actual felt temperature outside can differ by 2-4 degrees, or even higher depending on the conditions of the surface such as concrete and asphalt.

However, the hot weather is likely to gradually decrease from around May 1-2 in the North and Central regions; from around May 4-5 in the Central Highlands and the South. Specifically, from the night of April 30 to May 1, the North is likely to have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and night, the heat will decrease.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

Partly cloudy, especially hot during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 28-31 degrees. Highest temperature: 39-42 degrees, some places above 42 degrees.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Cloudy, from Da Nang to Phu Yen, hot and very hot during the day, especially very hot in some places; hot in the South; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night in some places. Southeast to south wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 26-29 degrees. Highest temperature: North 38-41 degrees, some places above 41 degrees; South 35-36 degrees, some places above 36 degrees.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, hot and very hot during the day, some places very hot; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Light wind. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees, some places below 23 degrees. Highest temperature: 35-38 degrees, some places above 38 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy, hot and very hot during the day, especially very hot in some places; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Light wind. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Hanoi
