Prepare seriously and responsibly
In mid-January 2024, the Y La Ward Fatherland Front Committee was the first unit in the province to organize a grassroots congress. This is a model grassroots congress of the province. After the success of the Y La Ward Fatherland Front Congress, the Fatherland Fronts of districts and cities selected communes, wards and towns to organize model congresses to gain experience and organize congresses in their localities. To date, the organization of the grassroots Fatherland Front Congress has been completed throughout the province.
Ms. Do Thi Thuy, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Y La Ward, said: Along with careful preparation for the congress, the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has determined 10 main targets for the new term, such as: every year, each residential area has 1 typical project or work; 100% of poor and near-poor households, households affected by natural disasters and incidents in the area are supported and assisted by the Fatherland Front Committee; support for repairing 4 solidarity houses for poor households; every year, the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward presides over the implementation of at least 1 program and monitoring content; the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward organizes at least 1 social criticism conference, 1 dialogue conference between the Party Committee, the government and the people...

Comrade Trieu Duc Long, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Chiem Hoa District Fatherland Front Committee, said that the preparation and organization of the congress in localities was quite proactive and thoughtful. Personnel work and congress documents were carefully prepared, in accordance with regulations. Through monitoring, it was shown that the program and content of the congress closely followed the instructions of the superiors. That is to properly monitor the implementation of the resolution; affirm the achieved results, good models, new factors; clearly point out limitations, shortcomings, causes, lessons learned... Thereby, creating an important premise for the district to prepare to successfully organize the District Fatherland Front Congress. In particular, to celebrate the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, the Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in the district has launched and mobilized people from all walks of life to respond to the special emulation campaign, making achievements to welcome the congress with many specific projects and tasks associated with emulation contents focusing on the fields of social security, poverty reduction support, participation in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas...
“As an important political event, in addition to the main contents of the congress, the propaganda, decoration, celebration, and logistics work also receive special attention from localities. Many communes also display OCOP products, local specialties, documents, and images of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front during the past term for delegates to visit and learn, contributing to the success of the congress,” added Comrade Trieu Duc Long.
Spreading the competitive spirit to welcome the Congress
Yen Son district is the first unit to organize the district-level Fatherland Front Congress and was selected by the provincial Fatherland Front as a model Congress. With the spirit of "Solidarity, Discipline, Democracy, Innovation, Development", the 21st Yen Son District Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029 took place in a solemn and democratic atmosphere, an important political event, spreading to all classes of people in building the great national unity bloc. The Congress was carried out in accordance with the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, publicly, in accordance with regulations and rules, on the basis of the approved cadre planning. The political report was concise, general, fully reflecting the current situation, the situation of all classes of people and the great national unity bloc in the locality. At the Congress, democratic consultation elected the Standing Committee and members of the District Fatherland Front Committee who are capable and qualified, creating prestige among the people.
Comrade Tang Thi Duong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, shared: The Yen Son District Fatherland Front Congress was organized in accordance with the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the guidance of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, ensuring solemnity, quality and creativity. The draft documents and political reports were carefully prepared and invested in by the District Fatherland Front Committee, reviewed, synthesized and collected opinions from all walks of life through meetings in villages and residential groups; focusing on comprehensively assessing the results of the implementation of the Fatherland Front's tasks in the past term. On that basis, propose key solutions and tasks in the coming term, contributing to promoting the role and responsibility of gathering and promoting the strength of great national unity in implementing goals and tasks.

In the spirit of democracy and responsibility, localities in the province have been actively preparing to organize the congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels, so that the congresses are truly a broad political activity, creating a strong change in awareness, responsibility and action of the entire political system and all classes of people, affirming the position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period. According to information from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, up to now, the whole province has completed the congresses of the Fatherland Front at the commune level, 1 district-level unit has completed the congress. From now until the end of May 2024, the province will basically complete the congresses of the Fatherland Front at the district level.
Along with careful, serious and proper preparations for organizing the congress, localities are also actively launching emulation movements, implementing specific projects and tasks to welcome the congress. Together with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, each district and commune level locality in the province has at least 1 project or task demonstrating innovation and creativity in performing well the functions and tasks of the Fatherland Front. All of this creates a vibrant competitive atmosphere to welcome the Congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels, towards the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029.
