On the morning of August 21, Dong Son District Party Committee held a conference to deploy the plan of the District Party Committee Standing Committee on implementing resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Politburo, the Secretariat of the 13th Party Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; Summarizing the political writing contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in 2024.

At the conference, delegates listened to the district leaders disseminate and implement the contents of the Plan of the District Party Committee Standing Committee on implementing resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat of the 13th tenure and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, including:

Plan to implement Directive No. 24, dated July 12, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee "on the Campaign for People to Donate Land to Invest in Renovating, Upgrading, and Renovating Infrastructure, Focusing on Roads in Rural and Urban Areas in the Province in a Synchronous and Modern Direction"; Plan to implement Directive 31, dated March 19, 2024 of the Secretariat on Continuing to Strengthen the Party's Leadership in Occupational Safety and Hygiene in the New Situation; Plan to implement Directive No. 34, dated May 24, 2024 of the Secretariat "on Strengthening the Party's Leadership in Social Housing Development in the New Situation"; Plan of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on implementing Conclusion No. 84, dated June 21, 2024 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 23 of the 10th Politburo "on continuing to build and develop literature and art in the new period"; Plan to implement Resolution No. 17, dated July 4, 2024 of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on continuing to build and develop Thanh Hoa culture and people in the new period; Plan to implement Directive No. 33, dated May 21, 2024 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in preventing and resolving international investment disputes; Plan to implement Conclusion 81, dated June 4, 2024 of the Politburo "on continuing to implement Resolution of the 7th Central Committee, term XI on proactively responding to climate change, strengthening resource management and environmental protection; Plan on implementing Directive No. 32, dated April 10, 2024 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing and sustainable development of the fisheries sector; Plan on implementing Directive No. 23, dated April 19, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on "strengthening leadership and direction of inspection work and implementing conclusions and recommendations after inspection and audit in the province".

The district-level competition organizing committee rewarded 13 collectives with achievements in directing and organizing the implementation of the Competition.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee 35 of Dong Son district also held a ceremony to summarize and award the prize for the writing contest "political essay on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views" in 2024.

After nearly 6 months of launching, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Writing Contest "Political essay on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views" of Dong Son district has received nearly 1,000 entries from authors from agencies, units, and localities in the district.

After 2 preliminary and final rounds, the Organizing Committee of the district-level contest decided to select 22 works, including 14 magazine works and 8 press, radio and television works to award the District-level Contest.

Reward the authors whose works won A prize.

At the conference, the Organizing Committee of the district-level contest commended 13 collectives with achievements in directing and organizing the contest; awarded 2 A prizes; 4 B prizes; 6 C prizes and 10 Encouragement prizes to authors with the best works.
