Focus maximum resources on building and completing infrastructure and developing Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone with the core being the development of Bai Goc Port and Hoa Tam Industrial Park as the main driving force for economic growth.
Dong Hoa also focuses on developing the commercial service system in urban centers, ensuring timely and adequate service when urbanization takes place. Investing in building new general supermarkets in the central area of Dong Hoa - Hoa Vinh ward and the centers of Hoa Hiep Bac, Hoa Hiep Trung, Hoa Hiep Nam wards.
Focus resources on investing in urban development - services and tourism in Dong Hoa town to become an attractive and friendly destination such as cultural heritage tourism and island tourism, develop urban tourism products associated with events, festivals, historical and cultural tourism, sea resort tourism, sea eco-tourism; high-end entertainment tourism... Strive by 2030, Dong Hoa town will become a type III urban area, a dynamic economic zone of Phu Yen province.
