Contribute ideas to build resolutions of the City People's Council according to the Capital Law

Kinhtedothi - On February 20, the Urban Committee of the Hanoi People's Council held a conference to discuss and contribute opinions on drafting a resolution of the City People's Council according to the provisions of Clause 5, Article 37 of the Law on the Capital.

The conference gave opinions on two contents: procedures for selecting and applying domestic and foreign technical standards and regulations; procedures for developing economic and technical norms for the city's construction sector.

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of the City People's Council, relevant departments and branches, the City's Project Management Board and experts in this field.

At the conference, representatives of the city's Project Management Boards; departments, branches and experts discussed and presented practical procedures and implementation sequences for a number of major projects in the city, especially those related to urban railway projects, wastewater treatment, etc.

Experts also suggested and presented many practical ideas for agencies to refer to in drafting resolutions of the City People's Council according to the provisions of the Capital Law.

Head of the Urban Committee, Hanoi People's Council Dam Van Huan spoke at the conference.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Head of the Urban Committee, Hanoi People's Council Dam Van Huan accepted the opinions of experts, departments and project management boards of the city. At the same time, he hoped that the departments would continue to review, detect and make recommendations to the competent authorities and the City People's Committee on the terms, standards, regulations, scope and time of application of economic and technical norms so that the competent authorities could study, propose amendments and adjustments to suit the reality, concretize and effectively apply the provisions of the Capital Law.
