On the morning of January 20, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province held a ceremony to announce the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee approving Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to hold the position of Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued a Resolution approving the election results of the Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Nghe An province. Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the National Assembly, the Working Regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Politburo's opinions on personnel work, considering the Submission of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province and the Submission of the Delegation Working Committee, on January 15, 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 1356/NQ-UBTVQH15 approving the election results of Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, National Assembly delegate of the 15th term to hold the position of Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Nghe An province.

Comrade Bui Duy Son - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council announced the Decision of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The Resolution takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation, i.e. January 15, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung congratulated Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh on being recommended by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, elected by the National Assembly delegates of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and approved by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly to hold the position of Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Nghe An province. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh is a key official of the province, a female official, an ethnic minority. She has a long working history, matured from the grassroots, and has held many important positions in agencies of the province's political system. In particular, the Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation must preside over maintaining relations with the Chairman of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the National Assembly Delegations of provinces and cities nationwide; maintain good relations with the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province.

To achieve the above goal, the Provincial Party Secretary said that the role of the Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation is extremely important. At the same time, the new Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation needs to organize the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, as well as the National Assembly deputies in accordance with regulations, requirements and tasks, especially focusing on improving quality in 3 areas.

Firstly, actively participate in the work of building, amending, supplementing and perfecting laws, especially in the context that the whole country is implementing the Central Committee's policy and the direction of General Secretary To Lam to remove institutional bottlenecks.

Second, perform the task of supreme supervision in the province or participate in the National Assembly's supervision delegations in other localities. Through supervision, organize a summary to help the province solve the work better and more effectively.

Third, resolve voters' petitions promptly, because it is the responsibility of National Assembly deputies to care for and look after the legitimate and legal rights and interests of voters, including complaints and denunciations.
