The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts on the occasion of International Children's Day 16

On the morning of May 27, Comrade Tong Quang Thin, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to children at Gia Thinh Kindergarten (Gia Vien) on the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1). Accompanying him were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Provincial Youth Union and Gia Vien district.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Gia Thinh Kindergarten has mobilized 370 school-age children, with a scale of 14 groups and classes. Universal education for 5-year-old children has been maintained firmly. Building the school in a child-centered direction associated with a modern kitchen; implementing well the topics of the year, focusing on building a green, clean, beautiful, safe and happy school. The quality of care, nurturing and education of children has changed significantly: 100% of children going to school are organized for semi-boarding meals, food hygiene and safety is ensured, the rate of malnourished children has decreased by 2.1% compared to the beginning of the school year; 100% of children going to school meet the requirements in 5 areas of development. In addition, the school always pays attention to educating life skills for children; integrating life skills education, preventing violence and abuse for children; ensuring children's rights according to the International Convention; help children develop harmoniously both physically and mentally, fully equipped with knowledge and skills to be ready to enter grade 1 of primary school.

To ensure the task of caring for, nurturing and educating children, the school has consulted with local leaders to invest in the construction, repair and upgrading of classrooms and auxiliary works with a total cost of over 1 billion VND. The school maintains a level 1 national standard and achieves level 2 quality accreditation.

Attending the school year-end ceremony, celebrating Children's Day on June 1st and the graduation ceremony for 5-year-old children with teachers and students of Gia Thinh Kindergarten, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tong Quang Thin presented June 1st gifts to teachers and students of the school, encouraging the school to continue to do a good job in caring for, nurturing, and educating children.

On this occasion, Gia Vien district leaders also presented gifts to teachers and students of Gia Thinh Kindergarten.
