The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee congratulated the Provincial Border Guard Command on its traditional day.

On the afternoon of March 1, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and congratulated officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2024). Accompanying him were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial Military Command.

On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mai Van Tuat sent a bouquet of flowers and best wishes to the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day and the 35th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day.

Recognizing and praising the achievements of the provincial Border Guard force in the past time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed: The provincial Border Guard is the core force assigned to firmly protect the sovereignty and security of the country's and the province's borders on sea and land routes. Over the past many years, overcoming many difficulties, the provincial Border Guard has been united, unified, and excellently completed the assigned tasks.

In addition, the provincial Border Guard force, together with the local Party Committee and government where they are stationed, has actively participated in ensuring political security, religious security, social order and safety; done a good job of mass mobilization, helping people develop socio-economy, ensuring social security, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, making an important contribution to the development of the province.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that in the coming time, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard will continue to promote tradition, solidarity, responsibility, and strive to excellently fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People.

In particular, the Border Guard force needs to proactively coordinate with the military, police, Party committees and authorities of coastal communes to resolve incidents right at the grassroots level, avoiding passivity and surprise, contributing to ensuring security and order in the province's coastal border area.

At the same time, continue to do a good job in mass mobilization work, build typical examples and skillful mass mobilization models; actively participate in and support localities and people in socio-economic development, flood and storm prevention, search and rescue; strengthen patrols and controls to ensure security and order in the area.

In particular, actively and effectively implement Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW dated June 26, 2022 of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee on sustainable development of the Kim Son coastal economic zone, period 2022-2030, contributing to making Kim Son a dynamic coastal economic zone, a new growth pole of the province.

On behalf of the collective of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Vinh Thang, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, thanked the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial leaders for their attention, encouragement and congratulations.
