(CPV) - On March 28, the working delegation of the Central Internal Affairs Commission led by Comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, worked with the Standing Committee of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, gave a speech at the meeting.

Attending were comrade Nguyen Van Yen, Deputy Head of the Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of Departments and units of the Central Internal Affairs Committee.

On the side of Ninh Thuan province, there were comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; provincial leaders, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; representatives of a number of provincial agencies.

Speaking at the working session, comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission acknowledged and highly appreciated the Party committees and authorities at all levels of the province for paying attention to leading and directing the effective implementation of internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, negativity and judicial reform in 2023, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the province.

The province has paid attention to thoroughly grasping, implementing, and issuing many documents to lead and direct internal affairs, prevent and combat corruption, negativity, and judicial reform. Internal affairs and judicial reform have received attention from leadership and direction, contributing to maintaining political and social stability, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development. Attention has been paid to directing the resolution of mass, complicated, and prolonged complaints and denunciations; and cases and incidents related to security and order. Improving the quality of inspection, investigation, prosecution, and trial of cases, and civil judgment enforcement work achieved good results (resolving complaints, denunciations, reflections, and recommendations under the authority of state administrative agencies reached 95.67%; the rate of criminal case discovery reached 92.17%, of which serious cases reached 97.92%; the rate of resolving denunciations and crime reports reached 90.25%; the rate of cases completed for investigation and proposed for prosecution by the Procuracy reached 88.22%; the rate of cases resolved by the Procuracy reached 99.8%; the rate of cases resolved by the Court reached 86.44%...).

Along with that, the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity has been given attention, including solutions to prevent, detect and handle corruption and negativity. The activities of the Provincial Steering Committee for Preventing and Combating Corruption and Negativity have been systematic and effective. The work of investigating, prosecuting and trying corruption and negativity cases has been given attention and direction (13 cases/30 defendants have been prosecuted and investigated; the Procuracy has prosecuted 07 cases/17 defendants; the Court has tried 8 cases/21 defendants).

The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission acknowledged the efforts and endeavors of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission, promoting the role of the Standing Agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity and the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform; advising the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on many important issues related to internal affairs, summarizing the implementation of the Regulations on coordination with relevant agencies to improve work efficiency...

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee to continue to pay attention to leading, directing, thoroughly implementing and strictly implementing the Central's directives, resolutions and conclusions on ensuring security and order; directing the timely and effective handling of emerging issues related to ethnicity, religion, sabotage activities of hostile and reactionary forces... to avoid forming "hot spots", to avoid being passive and surprised. Continue to pay attention to effectively implementing Regulation 11-Qdi/TW of the Politburo on receiving people and having direct dialogue with people; Directive 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations, especially focusing on directing the resolution of long-standing, crowded and pending disputes and lawsuits in the province; handling complaints and denunciations under its authority right at the grassroots level...

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac also requested that the province continue to pay attention to directing the improvement of the quality of operations and the effectiveness of coordination between internal affairs agencies. Strengthen state management, inspection, supervision, control of power, tighten discipline and order in areas prone to corruption and negativity; control power in judicial activities, and prevent wrongful convictions. Focus on directing the removal of difficulties and obstacles, further speeding up the investigation and settlement of corruption and negativity cases in the area, especially corruption and negativity cases in the area, cases and incidents related to personnel to prepare for the personnel of the Party Congresses at all levels in the next term. Improve the operational efficiency of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to concretize and effectively implement Regulation 137-QD/TW dated December 1, 2023 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee and the City Party Committee directly under the Central Government; closely coordinate with functional agencies to advise and effectively perform the tasks and powers as prescribed.../.
