Checking the progress of the Tan Son-Ta Nang connecting road project, comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged the efforts of the investor and contractors who have completed and put into use the project component 1 section from Tan Son town to Ma Noi commune since October 2023. Currently, the construction units are continuing to implement the next phase, the section from Ma Noi commune to Ta Nang intersection. Although facing difficulties due to lack of construction sites, contractors are focusing on construction for the sections that have available sites (8km/23.1km in Ninh Thuan and 15km/17.1km in Lam Dong province).

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that this is a key project of the province that plays a very important role in connecting with the provinces of the Southern Central Highlands. In the past time, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee have directed very strongly to remove difficulties related to land clearance problems, especially the work of preparing dossiers for forest land conversion to implement the project. In the coming time, the province will continue to direct relevant units to coordinate with Lam Dong province to promptly complete the dossier to submit to the Central Government for approval of forest land conversion for the remaining sections; strive for the Tan Son-Ta Nang road project to be completed and put into operation in 2024 to welcome the 15th Provincial Party Congress. Regarding the difficulty in capital sources for project implementation, comrade Pham Van Hau also said: The Provincial People's Council has issued a Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the medium-term plan of the Central Budget for the period 2021-2025 in the total medium-term capital allocated to the province. While waiting for the central government to allocate capital, to speed up progress, the Provincial People's Committee has advanced local budget capital to carry out compensation and site clearance to carry out construction.
* Checking the construction progress of the North-South Expressway Project, Cam Lam-Vinh Hao section through the province, comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the efforts of the construction units in speeding up the construction progress of the project. Currently, the 63km Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway section through Ninh Thuan, implemented by the joint venture of Deo Ca Group - Company 194, has basically completed the roadbed, and is installing technical items, road markings, signs, protective fences, lighting systems, and residential roads. The contractors maintain 3 shifts, day and night, speeding up the main items to finish on schedule.

To implement the project, the province has recently directed sectors and localities to carry out site clearance, ensure the supply of raw materials, and remove difficulties and obstacles for the project to be implemented smoothly. For the route connecting Highway 1 with Ca Na General Port, the province has also arranged enough budget capital to pay in advance to the people, in order to soon clear the site for project construction, ensuring connection conditions when the Highway project opens to traffic in March 2024. The comrade requested contractors and construction units to implement the project to ensure progress and quality to promote the effectiveness of project investment; requested relevant departments and sectors to closely coordinate with investors and construction units to resolve difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process, strive to complete projects on schedule, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
