On the afternoon of November 12, 2024, Da Nang Port was honored to welcome a delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to visit and work at Da Nang Port. 
Welcoming the delegation at the headquarters of Da Nang Port were comrade Tran Le Tuan - Party Secretary, General Director of Da Nang Port, comrade Le Tan Minh - Chairman of the Trade Union and comrades in the Standing Committee. On the side of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, there were comrade Le Phan Linh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, comrade Chu Dieu Linh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Professional Committee also attended the reception. At the meeting, comrade Tran Le Tuan - Party Secretary, General Director of Da Nang Port presented a report on the outstanding development of production and business of Da Nang Port in recent years, activities to care for the material and spiritual life of workers as well as paying special attention to social security work in the city. 
Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu acknowledged and commended the results of the Union's activities. He sent words of encouragement to the Board of Directors of Da Nang Port to continue promoting achievements in production and business and create more favorable conditions for the Union organization at the unit to operate strongly, in order to make Da Nang Port develop more sustainably. 
On the same afternoon, the delegation organized a field trip for 85 grassroots propaganda officers nationwide at Tien Sa Port.
