On the occasion of International Children's Day, on the afternoon of May 26, the Van Gia Port Border Guard Station coordinated with a number of localities and units in the two communes of Vinh Trung and Vinh Thuc (Mong Cai City) to organize a meeting and give gifts to students in the two programs "Helping Children Go to School", "Border Guard Station's Adopted Children" and students with especially difficult circumstances in the area.
Specifically, the Station presented gifts to 6 students in the two programs “Helping children go to school”, “Adopted children of the Border Guard Station” and 25 children in especially difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND. On this occasion, the Station also supported 2 kindergartens in the area, each school with 2 million VND to take care of the children on Children's Day. The total value of gifts is 19.5 million VND.
These are meaningful gifts, showing the concern of the Border Guard force for the future young generation of the country on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1. Thereby, contributing to sharing, encouraging and motivating students to continue to strive and try to achieve more achievements in studying, training, becoming good children, good students, and later becoming useful people for society.
