The Vietnamese women's team returned home in two groups, one group to Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) and one group to Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City). The group of players in Ho Chi Minh City arrived at the airport first, while the group of players returned to Hanoi about 45 minutes later. Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team finished the 2023 Women's World Cup at the bottom of Group E, not winning any points, not scoring any goals, and conceding 12 goals.

Despite some regrets, the 2023 Women's World Cup is still considered a memorable journey for Huynh Nhu and her teammates. For the first time, the Vietnamese national anthem was played at the biggest women's football tournament on the planet. In all 3 matches against the US, Portugal and the Netherlands, the Vietnamese girls, despite being at a disadvantage compared to their opponents, always showed great fighting spirit, bringing the image of Vietnamese women's football to the world.

Before returning home, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) announced a bonus of VND500 million for the Vietnamese women's team for the match against the Netherlands, bringing the total bonus from VFF for the team after the tournament to VND1.8 billion. In addition to the bonus from VFF, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) also announced the support amount for female players attending the 2023 World Cup. Accordingly, each player will receive a support amount of USD30,000 (about VND700 million) from FIFA and the total amount that the 23 players on the list of the Vietnamese women's football team will receive is about VND16 billion. Thus, the above amount brings the total amount that the women's team will receive from FIFA and VFF to VND17.8 billion.
