Vietnam athletics team receives huge bonus after SEA Games 32

Vietnamese athletics had a relatively successful 32nd SEA Games, bringing home 40 medals of all kinds, including 12 gold medals.

“The athletics team participating in the 32nd SEA Games has 75 members (21 team leaders, coaches and 54 athletes), competing in 38/47 events.

With the spirit of honest, noble competition and for the country's flag, the team competed excellently, winning a total of 40 medals including 12 gold medals, 20 silver medals, 8 bronze medals, contributing to the overall success of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the 32nd SEA Games.

On May 17, the Vietnam Athletics Federation will hold a ceremony to celebrate and reward the athletics team at the 32nd SEA Games," said the Vietnam Athletics Federation.

At the 2023 Southeast Asian Games, many Vietnamese track and field athletes left a strong impression on regional fans with their resilient competitive spirit, strong will, and determination.

Outstanding among these are Nguyen Thi Huyen, who won 3 gold medals, and Nguyen Thi Oanh, an athlete with 4 gold medals.

With such achievements, the Vietnamese athletics team has received many valuable awards from the State, Federation, businesses, individuals...

According to statistics, up to now, the Vietnamese athletics team has been rewarded up to 4 billion 360 million VND.

Of this, 2 billion 860 million VND comes from the State and the Federation's bonus. The rest is donated by businesses.

However, the bonus for the Vietnamese athletics team is expected to increase in the coming time.
