On September 30, in the match against Macau (China), the coaching staff arranged a team consisting of players Nguyen Thanh Bao, Nguyen Minh Nhat Quang and Nguyen Hoang Yen to compete.
At his table, chess player Nguyen Thanh Bao met Sou Chon Hou, one of the young chess players of Macau (China) at the age of 18. Although he has not had many international achievements, Sou Chon Hou is still considered a player who can make difficult moves. Therefore, veteran Nguyen Thanh Bao played cautiously but still made decisive moves to checkmate and complete his victory.
Meanwhile, at the women's table, player Nguyen Hoang Yen met Li Kevin. Hoang Yen's opponent is one of the youngest players to compete in Chinese chess at the 19th ASIAD this year, at just 15 years old.
Therefore, experience is still what Li Kevin is accumulating while Hoang Yen has her calmness and cunning to win. At the remaining table, Nguyen Minh Nhat Quang competed with player Kam Kin Hei and had a draw.
With two wins and one draw, we have secured the final victory over the Macau (China) chess team without having to wait for the results of the Hong Kong (China) team to compare the index.
