Businesses find partners and orders at the 2024 Da Nang Trade Connection and Export Promotion Conference

On the afternoon of August 2, within the framework of the Conference on Connecting Trade and Promoting Exports in Da Nang 2024 organized by the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) in coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City, there was an exhibition of products and export goods of 90 enterprises producing OCOP products, typical products, typical rural industrial products of Da Nang City and products of some provinces and cities in the Central - Central Highlands region.

Right at the conference, 57 enterprises registered to connect directly with supply and demand. There were 9 pairs of domestic and international enterprises that successfully connected in the first step and signed a contract in principle/Memorandum of Understanding to supply products and services and signed directly at the Conference. The connecting units are in the fields of rice export, cooperation in consuming rice products; providing logistics services; cooperation in consuming OCOP products, typical products such as consuming baked coconut cakes, ginseng products, herbs, young grapefruit products; cooperation in consuming consumer products such as Enso deodorant beads. At the same time, continue to promote support for 01 pair of enterprises to exchange and negotiate online.

Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that the Conference had achieved some positive results such as export enterprises in Da Nang City and the Central Highlands region had grasped information about export potential to European and American markets; especially, the Vietnamese Trade Counselors in China, Japan, and the Russian Federation; representatives of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; the International Business Development Center (under the Association of Russian Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs for Cooperation with Asia) shared a lot of useful information about market information and export opportunities to these markets.

In addition, businesses and units also grasp purchasing policies, business connection support, and experience in bringing goods into the distribution systems of domestic and foreign distribution units. Representatives of many businesses also shared issues of concern, difficulties and suggestions for further development of production, business, import and export activities in the coming time.
