Senior state leaders visited and took souvenir photos at the Cambodia booth.

The Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE - HCMC) takes place in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City from September 7-9, and is expected to attract more than 25,000 visitors.

In addition to the important awards held within the framework of ITE - HCMC in 2023, the High-level Tourism Forum with the theme Digital Transformation Promotes Tourism Development; ASEAN Public Relations and Communications Forum; Working Program between International Buyers and Exhibitors; Vietnam Night; Cambodia Night... have attracted many businessmen in the tourism sector of the two countries to exchange and seek business cooperation opportunities.

Speaking with Giao Thong Newspaper, Mr. Chhehai Oeng, a member of the Cambodia Tourism Association, said that the sunny and windy environmental conditions of Vietnam and Cambodia are suitable for using green energy in river tourism.

Mr. Chhehai Oeng, member of the Cambodia Tourism Association and Mr. Luu Xuan Hai, Development Director of ANIXA Cruise Technology Company.

Mr. Chhehai Oeng said that this green energy technology uses solar power and rechargeable electricity stored in an integrated lithium battery as the main energy source to operate the train and use equipment on the train.

At this fair, Mr. Chhehai Oeng met with Vietnamese partners, including ANIXA Yacht Technology Company, to learn about the application of renewable energy-powered multi-purpose yacht technology. This technology was designed and manufactured by Vietnamese engineers.

The businesses have evaluated the prospects of introducing this new generation of boats to the Cambodian market in the near future.

Mr. Chhehai Oeng believes that the support of this new technology from Vietnamese partners will bring practical benefits to Cambodia's tourism industry.
