The Inspection Delegation of the Secretariat works with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On the afternoon of September 4, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Inspection Delegation No. 1477 of the Secretariat led by Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, worked with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Attending the meeting were members of the Inspection Delegation and members of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of some Party organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the working session, the Inspection Delegation announced the Decision and Plan to inspect the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the Party Central Committee on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation".

In his speech, comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, emphasized that this is an annual periodic inspection according to the plan of the Politburo and the Secretariat to assess the practical leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Conclusion 21.

Through an objective and comprehensive assessment of the results achieved as well as the shortcomings and limitations in the leadership, direction and implementation of Conclusion 21 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Inspection Delegation wishes to learn new ways and good experiences in Party building and rectification, contributing to the summary of the practice of Party building and the political system, and making recommendations to the Politburo and the Secretariat to prepare well for the 14th National Party Congress.

Comrade Le Minh Hung requested the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to closely coordinate with the Inspection Team, develop reports closely following the plan and outline, and provide complete and timely documents so that the inspection results meet the set goals and requirements.

Receiving the direction of comrade Le Minh Hung, comrade Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized that after the Central Committee issued Conclusion 21, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs developed and issued a Plan to disseminate and organize the implementation of Conclusion 21; closely coordinated with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to lead, direct and disseminate to Party committees and organizations at all levels under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at home and abroad.

In particular, the focus is on closely linking Party building with building a clean, strong, comprehensive, modern, and professional diplomatic sector.

Comrade Bui Thanh Son affirmed that the Party Executive Committee and Party organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will seriously implement the plan set forth by the Inspection Team; carefully prepare reports, closely coordinate with the Inspection Team, and provide complete and timely documents and information so that the Inspection Team can properly assess the practical leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Conclusion 21 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Comrade Bui Thanh Son hopes that the Inspection Delegation will suggest measures to better implement Conclusion 21, contributing to improving the leadership and direction capacity of the Party Executive Committee and Party organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, building and developing a strong, comprehensive, modern and professional diplomatic sector.
